Why I’m Running for Heber City Council
Heber City is growing fast. That brings exciting opportunities, but also real challenges — traffic headaches, rising housing costs, and tough choices about what kind of community we want to be. I’m running for City Council because we need steady, honest leadership to guide this change responsibly and keep Heber the kind of place we all love to call home.
I’ve lived in big cities like Seattle, Provo, and Salt Lake, but Heber is the first place that truly felt like home. Here, kindness and community matter more than status or fitting in. That spirit is what makes Heber special, and it’s exactly what I want to protect as we grow.
As a financial planner and small business owner, I bring practical experience in balancing budgets, planning for the future, and finding solutions that work for real families. I know firsthand how financial decisions affect people’s lives, and I’ll bring that same focus on accountability and clear communication to the City Council.
My family and I are deeply rooted in this community. Raising my children here has only strengthened my commitment to making sure Heber remains welcoming, safe, and vibrant for every family. As the father of a child with special needs, I’ve learned patience, empathy, and the importance of accessible, inclusive community services. Those experiences shape how I lead — by listening first, treating people with respect, and making sure every resident has a voice.
I’m not a career politician. I’m a neighbor, a dad, and a business owner who loves this town enough to fight for it. My promise is simple: I’ll listen, I’ll be transparent, and I’ll work hard for practical solutions that keep Heber safe, affordable, and connected — without the drama or division.
On the City Council, I’ll work to ensure Heber grows in ways that strengthen our neighborhoods, preserve our open spaces, and build on the small-town character that makes us unique. Together, we can guide Heber’s future so that it remains a community where families thrive, neighbors know each other, and every resident feels valued and heard.
If you share this vision, I invite you to join me. Let’s work together to keep Heber grounded, connected, and thriving for generations to come.
