I’m Corey Noyes—dad, financial planner, tax guy, marathoner, triathlete, hockey player, and your reasonable option for Heber City Council.

I’m Corey Noyes. Though I wasn’t born here, Heber is the place I’m proud to call home. I’ve lived in many cities—Seattle, Provo, Salt Lake, Phoenix, and even Pennsylvania—and each had its own vibe. But Heber felt different. It’s a place where you’re welcomed just for being yourself, where kindness and honesty matter more than fitting in.

My wife and I have two wonderful kids, and raising them here has made me even more invested in protecting the qualities that make Heber so special. This community has given us so much—a sense of belonging, safety, and space to grow—and I want to ensure those gifts remain for every family that calls Heber home.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a small business owner and a dad who believes in steady, honest leadership. I’ve learned through life’s challenges that listening first and staying calm—even when things get tough—is the best way to find solutions that work for everyone.

One of the most defining experiences of my life has been raising a son with autism. It’s taught me patience, humility, and the importance of community support. It’s also shown me how vital it is for local government to be inclusive, compassionate, and focused on helping all residents thrive.

I’m running for City Council because I want to help guide Heber’s growth thoughtfully. Growth is inevitable, but it doesn’t have to come at the expense of the quiet, welcoming community we love. I want to make sure our city grows in ways that preserve our unique character and bring us together rather than divide us.

When I’m not working or campaigning, you’ll probably find me cycling through Heber Valley’s beautiful trails, running alongside my dog, or cooking comfort food for my family.

I’m honored to have the chance to serve this community, and I look forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas for Heber’s future.

A Few Things to Know About Me:

  • Local Financial Planner & Tax Preparer — I’ve helped hundreds of families take control of their money without the jargon or judgment.

  • Dad of Two — My son Rex has autism, and raising him has made me a better listener, advocate, and human being.

  • Marathoner & Triathlete — I don’t quit when things get hard. I pace myself, I train smart, and I always finish the race.

  • Hockey Player — Because nothing builds character like cold rinks, bruised shins, and a 9:45 p.m. Tuesday game.

  • Home Improvement Junkie — If it involves a power tool, a trip to Home Depot, and a YouTube tutorial, I’m in.

  • Old Car Restorer — I believe anything can be fixed with enough time, patience, and bondo.

  • Karate Student — Because you’re never too old to chase your childhood dreams.

  • Common-Sense Nerd — If something doesn’t add up, you can count on me to notice. And fix it.

  • Small-Town Guy — I love this valley. I love that we wave at each other at stop signs. I want Heber to stay that kind of place—honest, livable, and proud of what makes us different from everywhere else.
