I’m Corey Noyes—dad, financial planner, tax guy, marathoner, triathlete, hockey player, and your reasonable option for Heber City Council.

Though I wasn’t born here, Heber is the first place that’s ever truly felt like home. I’ve lived in Seattle, Provo, Salt Lake, Phoenix, and even Pennsylvania — but nowhere else had the same sense of belonging. Here, kindness and honesty matter more than status, and neighbors wave at each other at stop signs. That’s the spirit I want to protect as our community grows.

My wife and I are raising two kids here, and this valley has given our family so much — safety, space, and community. Raising my son Rex, who has autism, has been one of the defining experiences of my life. It’s made me more patient, more compassionate, and frankly, far less of an a**hole. That perspective shapes how I approach leadership — with humility, empathy, and a focus on people over politics.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a neighbor, a dad, and a small business owner who believes in steady, honest leadership. Life — and hockey — have taught me that staying calm under pressure and listening first are the best ways to find real solutions.

When I’m not working or campaigning, you’ll probably find me cycling through Heber Valley’s trails, running alongside my dog, or cooking comfort food for my family.

A Few Things to Know About Me:

  • Financial Planner & Tax Preparer — I’ve helped hundreds of families make sense of money without jargon or judgment.

  • Dad of Two — My son Rex has autism, and raising him has made me a better listener, advocate, and human being.

  • Marathoner & Triathlete — I don’t quit when things get hard. I pace myself, train smart, and finish the race.

  • Hockey Player — Because nothing builds character like cold rinks, bruised shins, and a 9:45 p.m. Tuesday game.

  • Home Improvement Junkie — If it involves a power tool, a trip to Home Depot, and a YouTube tutorial, I’m in.

  • Old Car Restorer — Anything can be fixed with enough time, patience, and bondo.

  • Karate Student — Because you’re never too old to chase childhood dreams.

  • Common-Sense Nerd — If something doesn’t add up, you can count on me to notice. And fix it.

  • Small-Town Guy — I love this valley. I love that we wave at each other at stop signs. I want Heber to stay that kind of place — honest, livable, and proud of what makes us different from everywhere else.
